As we gear up for another exciting Girl Scout year, our girls and volunteers kicked things off by participating in the Grape Festival! The festivities began with one of our own scouts, Emmamarie, proudly representing the Girl Scouts in the iconic Grape Stomping Competition. She did an incredible job, placing 2nd and sharing that it was an absolute blast! Our scouts also joined in the Grape Festival Parade, showcasing their creativity with a beautifully decorated disco-themed camping float. Many of the girls embraced the theme by dressing up in fun disco-inspired outfits. Their hard work and enthusiasm paid off, earning them a ribbon for Best Float in the Non-Profit Organization category. Congratulations to all the girls for their dedication and teamwork! Looking ahead, we’re thrilled about the exciting events planned for our service unit. In October, we’ll host a Halloween Costume Giveaway, sponsor a cabin at the Dunkirk Conference Center for "Halloween Happenings," and wrap up the month with a service unit Halloween campout. Here’s to another memorable year filled with fun, friendship, and new adventures.
